When a buyer uses oboloo to invite you to a sourcing activity, or asks you for documents or a questionnaire, you log in to the oboloo supplier portal with a reference code from their email. This guide is for supplier contacts; you don't need an oboloo account or a password.
Before you start
You can only log in with a reference code that a buyer has emailed to you. Each contact gets their own code, so use the code sent to your own email address.
Log in from your email
Open the email from the buyer
Find the oboloo email about the sourcing activity, document request or questionnaire. It contains a link to the supplier portal and your reference code.
If you can't find it, check your spam or junk folder.
Click the link in the email
The login page opens with the message Please enter your reference code that can be found in the oboloo email.
Always use the link from the same email as the code. Sourcing invitations and document or questionnaire requests use different login pages, so a code only works on the page its email links to.
Enter your reference code
Copy the code from the email and paste it into the Reference Code field. Don't include any spaces before or after it.
Click Login
Click Login. By logging in, you agree to oboloo's Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy.
What happens next
Sourcing invitations: you go straight to the sourcing activity, where you can read the details and prepare your response. The Invited Contacts tab shows when each invited contact last logged in.
Document requests and questionnaires: you go to your supplier portal page, with tabs for Supplier Document Requests, Contract Document Requests and Questionnaires.
Language and help: use the language button at the top of the page to change the portal language, and User Guides to open the supplier help articles.
Logging out: click Logout when you've finished. Sessions also end automatically 8 hours after you log in. To continue after that, log in again with the same code.
Troubleshooting
I see a message saying the access code is invalid
Check that you copied the whole code, with no spaces.
Make sure you're on the page that the link in the same email opened.
If the buyer has reopened the sourcing activity, your old code no longer works. Use the code in the newer email.
If you've been told that you've won the activity, your sourcing code is no longer active. Contact the buyer if you still need access.
I see 'This activity no longer exists.'
The buyer has completed the sourcing activity, so it's no longer open for responses. Contact the buyer if you have questions about the outcome.
I see 'Invalid or expired access code.'
The buyer has removed your access to this sourcing activity. Contact the buyer if you think this is a mistake.
A colleague needs to respond too
Each code belongs to one contact. Instead of sharing yours, ask the buyer to invite your colleague as a contact, and they'll receive their own email and code.
