Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to securely log in using their existing Microsoft credentials, eliminating the need to remember separate passwords.
This simplifies the login process while ensuring enhanced security by integrating with your organization’s Microsoft authentication policies.
Prerequisites: Before you can use the Microsoft SSO feature, ensure the following:
You have a valid user account with your organization's Microsoft Active Directory or Azure Active Directory.
You will only be able to sign in via SSO if you have an active oboloo licence against your organisation email.
When to Use This Feature
If your organization requires Microsoft authentication for login.
If you prefer not to manage separate passwords for different platforms.
If you need a secure and seamless login experience across multiple systems.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Go to Your Organization’s Login Page
Open your browser and navigate to your organization’s login page.
2. Click on “Sign in with Microsoft”
At the bottom of the login page, click "Sign in with Microsoft."
This will redirect you to the Microsoft authentication page.
3. Select or Enter Your Microsoft Account
If you are already signed into Microsoft, select the account you want to use from the list.
If your account is not listed, click "Use Another Account" and sign in with your Microsoft email and password.
4. Approve Your Sign-In via Microsoft Authenticator (If Required)
Depending on your organization’s security policies, you may be required to complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
If prompted, enter the number displayed on the login page into your Microsoft Authenticator app to verify your identity.
If you are unable to complete this step, contact your internal IT team for assistance.
5. Access Your Account
Once authenticated, you will be automatically logged in and redirected to your dashboard.
No need to enter additional credentials!
Key Considerations & Best Practices
✅ Microsoft SSO only works if your organization has enabled it. If you don’t see the option, check with your administrator.
✅ If you have issues signing in, ensure you’re using the correct Microsoft account linked to your platform access.
✅ If you encounter Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) issues, make sure your Microsoft Authenticator app is set up correctly.
✅ If your organization enforces password changes, you may need to update your Microsoft password before logging in successfully.
