If a client has requested a contract document from you via oboloo, you will receive an email notification containing details of the request.

This email will include the document name, contract title, a reference code, and any additional notes or instructions provided by your client.

📌 This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of uploading your contract document to the oboloo portal.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Supplier Portal

  1. Open the email notification sent by your client.

  2. Click on the Upload Documentation button within the email.

  3. You will be redirected to the oboloo supplier portal.

  4. Enter the Reference Code from the email into the login field.

  5. Click Log In to access the upload page.

Step 2: Locate the Document Request

  1. Once inside the portal, navigate to the Contract Document Request tab.

  2. This section displays all contract document requests from your client, including:

    • Requested documents

    • Any notes from the client

    • Current upload status

  3. Find the document request that has the status "Awaiting Upload." A client can also send you a document to download, review and upload.

  4. Click Upload under the Actions column.

💡 Note: Document requests can be cancelled by the client. If a request is cancelled, the supplier contact who originally received the document upload request will be notified by email. The cancelled request will also be removed from the Contract Documents tab and will no longer be available for upload.

Step 3: Upload Your Document

  1. Enter a document title to help identify the file.

  2. Click Choose File to select the requested document from your device.

  3. If required, enter an expiry date. If your document does not have an expiry date, leave this field blank.

Step 4: Submit the Document

  1. Click the Upload Document button to submit the file to your client.

  2. Once the upload is complete, your client will receive a notification confirming the submission.

  3. The client will then be able to review and approve the document as needed.

Key Considerations & Best Practices

✅ Ensure the document is in the correct format before uploading.
✅ Double-check any notes or instructions provided by the client in the request.
✅ If you need to upload multiple documents, repeat the process for each file.
✅ If your document has an expiry date, enter it accurately to avoid compliance issues.
✅ Once submitted, you cannot edit or replace the document unless the client requests a re-upload.
