There are two ways to change your oboloo password:
1. Whilst logged into oboloo via your profile page
2. From your organisation's oboloo login page via the 'Forgot Password?' option.
When to Use This Feature
If you want to update your password for security reasons.
If your organization enforces periodic password changes.
If you suspect someone else has access to your account.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Navigate to Your Profile Page
Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
From the dropdown menu, select "Profile".
2. Access the Security Tab
Once on your profile page, navigate to the Security tab.
This is where you can manage your password settings and login security.
3. Enter Your Current Password
Before setting a new password, you must first enter your current password to verify your identity.
4. Set a New Password
Enter your new password in the designated field.
To prevent errors, re-enter the same password in the confirmation field.
5. Save Your New Password
Click the “Change Password” button.
A confirmation message will appear, indicating that your password has been successfully updated.
6. Log in with Your New Password
The next time you log in, use your new password to access your account.
If you use any API authentication or third-party integrations, ensure that stored credentials are updated to reflect the new password.
Key Considerations & Best Practices
✅ Ensure your new password meets security requirements (i.e. a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters).
✅ If you forget your new password, you can always reset it using the Forgot Password feature.
✅ If you encounter an error when updating your password, double-check that your current password is entered correctly.
✅ If your organization uses API integrations that require login credentials, remember to update them with your new password to avoid disruptions.
